From Randy Rasmussen, DC
I have been playing golf for many years. Fred Brattain helped me finally put all the pieces together for a powerful repeating pain free single axis swing. I highly recommend his CD. Dr. Randall Rasmussen

About 6 years ago Mary "ratted me out" to a bunch of my friends that
play Saturday morning golf. I had learned to play when I was younger but
hadn't touched my clubs for years. They insisted that I come out and
play with them. Eventually I dusted off my old clubs and went out for a
round of Saturday morning golf. Even though I played terribly, I enjoyed
playing with my friends immensely and even better they were willing to
"stick with me" while I relearned the game.
My problem was years of skiing, motorcycles, softball, etc. had wrecked my
lower back to the extent that about once every 2 or 3 years my lower
back would "go out" and literally knock my legs out from under me. The
pain involved when my lower back goes out is hard to over state.
After a Saturday morning round of golf I found myself literally "laid
up" on the couch for the rest of the weekend. As luck would have it, an
old friend (Fred Brattain) was having the same problem with his lower
back. During one of his visits he introduced me to the "Lever Power
Golf" swing. After a little work, frustration and determination I found
that I could use the LPG swing on Saturday mornings and NOT SPEND THE
REST OF THE WEEKEND totally "laid up" with lower back pain. I was
totally amazed. The LPG swing isolated my lower back enough that I could
play a full round of golf with little or no pain.
5 years later, my score has improved to the point that I'm competitive
with my golf buddies and I can play 3 or more times a week and avoid
most if not all of the lower back consequences.
The moral of the story is that the "classic golf swing" IS NOT THE ONLY
GOLF SWING. Using the LPG swing I can be competitive with my friends and
look forward to Saturday morning golf without the fear of sacrificing the remainder
of my weekend.
The only person unhappy with the LPG outcome is my chiropractor. :)
